Vanessa and Nathan's pre wedding shoot near Newquay

Hidden coves, a field full of poppies and a dramatic sea cliffs, we got them all at this amazing secret location for Vanessa and Nathan’s pre wedding shoot near Newquay. I had a superb day photographing Vanessa and Nathan’s wedding at the beautiful Shilstone House in South Devon yesterday (more of that fantastic wedding in a future blog). On the drive home, it got me thinking about their pre wedding / engagement shoot earlier in the summer. We met on a warm summers night and went for a walk along the Cornish coast. I wasn’t sure that the field of poppies would still be in bloom, it was a total bonus when we found that it still was. I really like to walk and shoot, stopping at locations on the way that draw you in. We ended the shoot sitting on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. Just perfect.
