Helen and Ty - Mount Pleasant Eco Park Wedding
Nestled high above Porthtowan, Mount Pleasant Eco Park is a superb wedding venue for those looking for a wedding with a festival style vibe. I absolutely love it there. The beauty of this place is that it combines impressive green credentials with a venue that is perfect for live music all within relaxed rural surroundings.
Helen and Ty had chosen Mount Pleasant Eco Park for all the reasons above. Unfortunately the weather was due to test their resolve. Luckily a Mount Pleasant Eco Park Wedding has the advantage of the main barn which is perfect to shelter from the elements in.
The wedding ceremony had originally been planned to be held in a yurt on the site. The weather had really put play this and with some reorganisation, the ceremony was moved to the main barn. Safe and sound in the barn the wedding party was warm and cosy. In actual fact one of the advantages of a wedding at Mount Pleasant Eco Park is the flexibility of the site. With the ceremony finished, we grabbed a break in the weather for confetti outside. A patch of blue sky even managed to make a welcome appearance.
After the wedding breakfast, Helen, Ty and I took the opportunity to nip down to nearby Porthtowan – with its nearby beach. However, on this day the wind was so strong we risked being blasted by the sand. In the last light of the day we managed to get some beautiful pictures (despite the gale force winds whipping at Helen’s hair) on the cliff tops high above Porthtowan.
With the band starting to play, the wedding was set for the evening.
I would recommend a Mount Pleasant Eco Park to anyone looking for a relaxed, chilled, festival style wedding. Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, it does not matter, you can have your festival wedding at any time of year.
